Turn Up The Heat

Thursday, July 09, 2009

At CrossFit Body Construction we live and die by the clock. Every second counts; the speed of each repetition, the transition time from one exercise to the next, the rest periods being barely long enough to catch our breath before attacking the workout once again.

It's all about results, and results can only be gotten by constantly striving to improve.

It's all about constantly giving a little more than you have...or think you have.

It's all about giving it all you've got...and then some.

And then some
is all about giving that extra effort that most people don't do...or won't do, and it can be life altering.

What could you accomplish by just putting a little bit more effort into everything you do, pushing yourself outside your comfort zone and exploring the edge of your abilities?

Think about it...

What would your relationships be like if you were just a little more attentive, affectionate and romantic?

What would your career be like if you showed up 20 minutes early each day and set your monthly goals just a little higher?

How much happier would you be if you spent just a few minutes each morning and every night giving thanks for all the abundance you DO have in your life?

And finally, how much better would you look and feel if you worked out hard and ate clean...consistently?

Life is short, so lets have fun, train hard and play to win...and then some!

Live With Passion,

Roy

I heard something that really resonated with me. It said not to let exhaustion be the excuse that you use to keep you away from doing what you want or being who you want to be. Think of EXHAUSTION as a BIG bully. We do have more control over it then we think. Our mind can overcome anything. So at times when I'm faced against an obstacle, I remind myself to just DO IT and before you know it I'm accomlishing more then I ever imagined. That extra 20 minutes can make all the difference!!
